    About Us

    Strong fundamentals drive us forward

Avadh Sugar and Energy Limited (Avadh) is a well-integrated producer of sugar, ethanol, and co-generated power, proudly aligned with the esteemed K.K. Birla Group conglomerate. Under the leadership of Smt. Nandini Nopany, the Chairperson, and Sri Chandra Shekhar Nopany, the Co-Chairperson, the company is driven forward by their vision and supported by a team of highly qualified and experienced professionals.

Strategically positioned in the cane-rich state of Uttar Pradesh, our four manufacturing units are located in the districts of Sitapur, Kushinagar, Shahjahanpur, and Bijnor. We have a consolidated licensed crushing capacity of 41,500 TCD. Our integrated product portfolio reflects the seamless conversion of raw materials between processes, fostering interdependence and enhancing margins.

Our growth is fueled by enduring relationships with thousands of cane growers surrounding our manufacturing facilities. Cane procurement involves over 2.90 lakh farmers and is continually expanding. Avadh Sugar operates on the firm belief that success in sugar manufacturing lies in building strong connections with farmers. This approach enables us to cultivate lasting relationships with cane farmers by ensuring fair and timely payments, accurate weighments, and dedicated support and care.

We also educate farmers on advanced farming techniques, including optimized irrigation, sustainable fertilization, and pest management, empowering them to manage their crops more effectively. These practices reduce the risk of quality-related rejections by producing healthier cane that consistently meets processing requirements. This collaboration between the company and farmers creates a sustainable supply chain where farmers experience higher productivity and income, while the company benefits from a reliable and high-quality supply of raw materials.

Over the years, we have built strong relationships with wholesalers across six states in India. Our wholesaler network includes numerous brokers and sub-brokers who serve as our distribution partners.

Backed by exceptional talent, our workforce excels in agriculture, manufacturing, information technology, research, finance, and other support functions. With over 2,000 employees, they are the driving force behind our progress.

We are listed on the National Stock Exchange and the Bombay Stock Exchange.
